Rotary Club of Merrill

About Us

Welcome to The Rotary Club of Merrill!

The Rotary Club of Merrill has a long and proud history of serving our community. Founded in 1916, our club has been a leading force for positive change in Merrill, Wisconsin, and the surrounding area for over a century. We are dedicated to the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self,” and we work tirelessly to make a positive impact in our community and beyond.

Our Mission and Values

The Rotary Club of Merrill is committed to promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water, saving mothers and children, supporting education, and growing local economies. We are a diverse group of professionals and volunteers who share a commitment to making a difference in our community and around the world.

Our History

The Rotary Club of Merrill has a rich history dating back to 1916, when a group of community leaders came together with a shared vision of creating positive change in the world. Over the years, our club has undertaken many successful service projects, including supporting education, promoting literacy, and fighting hunger. We have also been active in disaster relief efforts and community development initiatives.

During the Great Depression, the club took a brief hiatus, but resumed its activities in 1937. Today, we are proud to continue the legacy of our founders and carry on the Rotary Club of Merrill’s tradition of service.

No challenge is too big for us

For more than a century, Rotary has bridged cultures and connected continents. We champion peace, fight illiteracy and poverty, help people get access to clean water and sanitation, and fight disease. Our newest cause is to protect our planet and its resources.
